One of the cornerstone programs of PCA is our Health and Wellness Program, operated by our compassionate and skilled Community Health Workers (CHWs). Our CHWs are dedicated to improving the health of individuals and families by offering personalized guidance, education, and resources to navigate complex healthcare systems. They focus on building trust, promoting preventative care, and ensuring that every person has access to culturally relevant, high-quality health services.
Whether it's providing one-on-one health consultations, offering health screenings, connecting individuals to local services, or sharing wellness strategies, our CHWs work tirelessly to address the disparities in healthcare access that many of our community members face.
Through this program, we empower individuals to take charge of their health while fostering a culture of care, support, and shared responsibility within the community. We invite you to explore our Health and Wellness Program and learn more about the resources and services available to you. Together, we can build a healthier and stronger future for all Alaskans.
